Target
All workers required to demonstrate competency required to erect/install steel structures, dismantle structural steel and move locate plant and equipment.

- Workplace and equipment safety requirements
- Relevant acts, standards, regulations and codes of practice
- General rigging principles
- Type of ropes and slings
- Chain, Anchorages and fittings
- Calculation of material requirements
- Material handling safety
- General rigging appliances
- Selection and use of mobile cranes
- Packing, securing and moving loads - Basic rigging techniques & equipments
- Steel erection
- Cantilevered crane loading platforms
- Erection of hoists and mast climbers
- Industrial safety nets
- Safety line systems
- Handling pre-cast concrete
Assessment
Mandatory oral, written, and practical assessment by our accredited WorkCover assessor.
On successful completion participants will receive a Notice of satisfactory Assessment (NSA) to be lodged with Australia Post for issuance of a licence/certification by Work Cover NSW.

Construction Induction Card (Green Card)
WorkCover Dogging Ticket (prior to undertaking this course)
Fee Structure
$1200 per person (+ GST )
This price includes on-site Training and National assessments conducted over the 1 day period, reference materials and documentation.
